Art Tourism

Having combined my interests in travel and art for many years I now offer art tours and workshops around Scotland. I was a fully qualified ‘Blue Badge’ Scottish Tourist Guide up until January 2021 when I decided to devote myself to my art practice full time.

If you wish to arrange a private visit, you could accompany me on a tour of art historical sites or museums and galleries in any of the Scottish cities, looking for example, at the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, The Glasgow Boys or The Scottish Colourists.

Or you could travel with me and your sketch book to remote and rugged places, following in the footsteps of artists to Iona, Catterline or Argyll, safe in the knowledge that you will receive friendly and accurate information. If your tastes are more adventurous, I can take you to mountains, rivers, rocks and islands that will nurture your inner creativity.

I am experienced in leading practical workshops in my studio in Edinburgh, or I can come to you and your group wherever you may be. Workshops that I have recently offered include print and collage, watercolour drawing and painting, landscape and abstraction.

Please get in touch if you are interested in a tour or workshop designed especially for you.

I have teamed up for many years now with a fantastic creative tourism company called Wild at Art Scotland Ltd to offer artist holidays in special places.
